“It’s just a little happy.” That's what the women in Jenny's family would say when they showed up with small, unexpected gifts. Not for birthdays or holidays. Just because. A very Southern thing.
A happy was never big or fancy, just a small act of care. These overalls are named for that feeling. Inspired by a well-loved pair Jenny bought in 1991, a Happy is meant to feel comfortable, lived-in, and easy — something you reach for because it makes you feel like yourself. Imperfect. Soft. Joyful in a quiet way.
A Happy is something you wear (and give!), just because.

We slow things down, focusing on quality, sustainability, and intentional design. Each overall is made in the USA on demand, featuring hand-block-inspired prints or art by our collaborating artist friends, and crafted with care for you and the planet.
Mark is a fearless entrepreneur and an extrovert. Got an idea? Mark’s game to bring it to life.
Jenny is a contemplative creative. Got a tiny secret forest? Jenny’s probably sitting in it, listening for tiny happy things and writing them down.
When Mark kept hearing women rave to Jenny about her beloved old pair of cotton overalls, he had an idea. “Let’s build a brand, baby!”
So that’s what they’re doing.
Jenny is the creative designer behind Happy Overall, shaping the heart, story, and feel of everything you see. Mark handles production, sourcing, marketing — all the other stuff it takes to turn a small, joyful idea into something real.
Together, they’re building a company rooted in comfort, creativity, and "just a little happy."
