Probably. Let's Do It Anyway.

We're building Happy Overall, an apparel company inspired by a beloved pair of overalls I've been wearing since 1991.

Startups are old hat for Mark. He’s been starting companies since he was a fifth grader (cool story). For me, it’s always felt out of my league. And wow, is it harder than I ever imagined. One minute I feel like a superhero problem-solver; the next I’m convinced we’re never going to figure it out. 

Thankfully, Mark's optimism is sweet medicine. When I hit a wall and wonder whether we're crazy, he usually says, “Probably. Let's do it anyway.”

So we are. We’re doing it. We might fail in the end, but we’re not in it for the finish. We’re in it because there’s something deeply satisfying about dreaming with another person, building something that feels like it wants to exist, and growing and changing in the process.

That's the real reward.

Everything else is just the scoreboard.
